MP 595W EVDO & 802.11b/g GPS Modem

The AirLink MP 595W GPS provides in-vehicle data solutions while operating over CDMA EV-DO Revision A networks with peak download data rates of 3.1 Mbps. To accommodate areas where such coverage is not yet available, the MP 595 GPS is backwards compatible to EV-DO Release 0, 1x and IS95-A networks. A 12-channel GPS module and 4 digital & 4 analog input/output ports are also offered to allow for advanced tracking and alarms.

Now equipped with an 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi chip, the MP 595W allow for administrators to “cut the cord” between the peripheral device and the MP modem. This option increases flexibility and eliminates a point of equipment failure. Furthermore, the WiFi chip enables a mobile hotspot to be created around the vehicle. Tough as nails, the MP features US Military and SAE specifications making it ideal for industries such as police, fire, rescue, transport, military, and utility field service.

Enhanced WAP security (WEP, WPA and WPA2) ensure the WiFi cloud is secure.
