Wilson’s Wide Band Log Periodic Directional Antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to an amplifi er, cell phone or cellular data card. When the cell phone or cellular data card transmits, the signal is transferred to an amplifi er or directly to the antenna and broadcast back to the cell tower.

Yagi antennas offer directional gain by focusing their radiation pattern on a narrow beamwidth. But the very reason that makes directional antennas (i.e narrow beamwidth) have higher performance than omnidirectional antennas could also lead to detriment if not correctly oriented. This antenna is designed for stationary deployments such as buildings or stationary RV's/ campers.

This unique multi-band directional antenna covers the entire spectrum from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz and can be used for all cellular frequencies including North American standard 850 and 1900 MHz PCS bands, Euro/Asian standard 900 and 1800 MHz bands, WCDMA & AWS 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz, Nextel 800 MHz iDEN, 2.4 GHz WiFi band. This can also be used for the 900 MHz unlicensed ISM band.

This directional ultra wideband log periodic antenna covers a very wide frequency range with high gain. Because it covers both cellular, PCS and WiFi worldwide frequencies, it is very useful for CPE equipment and base station equipment needed for these frequency bands minimizing the amount of equipment needed for each service location. This antenna can be used indoors or outdoors and comes complete with all components needed for pole mounting or wall mounting (does not include the pole - see antenna mounts for example Antenex/Laird). The sealed housing is UV stabilized ABS plastic. The backplate is stainless steel with stainless steel fasteners. All bracket components are stainless steel as well for corrosion protection. The pigtail is 18" outdoor rated cable terminated with an N-Female connector.

• Cable: This antenna includes no cable.
• If want to connect directly to phone or data card and for a short run <20' consider this 20FT RG-58 Coax which has the correct N-Male/FME-Female to mate one end to the antenna and the other to the phone antenna pigtail below).
• Phone Adapter Cable (FME-Male) if connecting directly to a cellular datacard or phone.
• If you want to connect directly to a radio with N-female connectors such as In-Building amplifiers you may use the N-Male 400-series cables.
