Express Card to PCMCIA Port Adapter

Total Transparency
The adapter is completely transparent to the computer. All device drivers and applications "see" the ExpressCard in the adapter as if the adapter was built in to the notebook. Intelligent hardware on the adapter resolves all compatibility issues by converting ExpressCard signals to Cardbus signals and visa versa. This is done transparently to both the ExpressCard and the notebook.

Full Performance
ExpressCard/34 devices operate at full performance levels. There is no performance degradation when using the adapter.

Hot-Swapping
This adapter may be left in the notebook and ExpressCard inserted or extracted at will without rebooting or re-initializing the card.

Caveat Emptor
This device does NOT support native PCI-Express interface devices such as SATA interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, Memory modules etc. Standard cellular data cards (aircards), LAN cards and various other cards that rely on internal USB 2.0 interface are supported.
