The WBP-X20 is a rugged, self-contained battery/charger/solar/equipment package designed to bring portability to a variety of electronic devices in
hard-to-wire or temporary locations. It supports continuous operation/recharging from either an AC or optional solar power source.

The WBP-X20 enclosure provides an internal plate for mounting a Wi-Fi and/or Wi-MAX access points or similar electronic device and includes the internal cables and external antennas to extend the range of various cellular and wireless networks. Also included is a fast AC charger (7 hrs.), a 12V battery and provision for a solar panel controller. There is room for storage of cables and other small devices in the case.

A solar panel is not included.For typical applications, the WBP will operate at 20W for 20 hours on a single charge, however for solar operation a 10W load is suggested because the battery should not be discharged more than 50% over night.The solar panels must be sized to generate more energy per day (~5-6 hrs) than the load uses in 24hrs. (De-rate up to 50%).

For temporary deployments in sunny locations a 12V/35Ah battery and a 80W/12V solar panel is good for loads up to 10W. Contact us for other
deployments. Do not allow the WBP battery to completely run down as a full discharge can damage the battery. The solar controller option includes protection to prevent the battery from over discharge.

Solar panels must be operated in a shade-free southfacing location. Shading 1 cell reduces output 90%.
