The ferrule has a hole on the side to let the cable connecting to the antenna exit the ferrule. Please note that not all N/Male cable connectors will fit inside of the ferrule (for example, our standard LMR-400 connectors do not fit). If you are unsure whether or not your connector will fit inside the ferrule we suggest adding one of the optional short jumper cables. The short jumper cable will connect to the 288-PB and exit the ferrule at which point you can connect the main cable.
